This innovative technique was created to help orthopaedic surgeons fit and position knee implants based upon patients’ unique anatomies.
The single-use ShapeMatch Cutting Guides are designed and manufactured from patient-specific 3D imaging data that is derived from MRI or CT scans. This technology utilizes proprietary 3D imaging software to develop a customized pre-operative surgical plan for each patient that allows the surgeon to best fit the implant to their body.
